(Nasdaq: JIVE) today unveiled in front of a record crowd at its sixth-annual customer and partner conference the world's first WorkType™ Finder, a new methodology aimed at helping people understand how best to work together. Drawing on Jive's expertise in enabling modern communication and collaboration, Jive has identified eight essential WorkTypes, and created a simple and intuitive way for people to identify their unique WorkType. By understanding their WorkType, employees can recognize their unique workstyles – the habits and preferences for how they prefer to work – and ultimately leverage this knowledge to work better themselves as well as with their colleagues, partners and customers. At the same time, managers can draw on this information to create more effective teams.

The WorkType Finder is the first in a broader workstyle methodology coming from Jive that will provide every level of an organization – from individuals and teams to departments and entire companies – with the insight needed to work better together.
