Whirlpool Corporation Named Primary Appliance Supplier for Home Properties

BENTON HARBOR, Mich., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE: WHR) is pleased to have been selected as the primary appliance supplier for Home Properties, Inc. (NYSE: HME). As part of the agreement, Whirlpool Corporation is providing replacement and upgraded appliances for Home Properties' approximately 37,000 apartment units located primarily in selected Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.
