Whitlock Launches Collaboration as a Service
Creative and productive team meetings for the price of a cup of coffee
RICHMOND, Va., March 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Whitlock, a video collaboration company, today announces the launch of Collaboration as a Service (CaaS).
CaaS is offered to customers who want their teams to be creative, collaborative and productive while not worrying about the procurement and management of hardware, software, training, maintenance and support. Whitlock can provide the entire solution for a single monthly fee, equivalent to the cost of coffee for each participant per meeting.
At launch, Whitlock is teaming with Microsoft and application developer, Mural, to offer an 84" Surface Hub preloaded with Office 365 and Mural's subscription-based visual workspace solution. The package includes the software, installation, lifetime user and facilitator training and support for a 3-year period. Whitlock is offering a similar package with Polycom and Crestron, which includes a medium-sized video collaboration room with Real Presence and O365 integration for a seamless meeting experience. Both packages offer flexibility to match a customer's needs, rather than a one size fits all solution.
