Whitlock Promotes Two Strategic Sales Leaders to Regional VP

John Bagnell and Ewan Smith were chosen for expanded executive roles to help drive continued growth across Whitlock's national footprint.

RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Whitlock, a video collaboration company, today announced it has created a new role at the executive level for regional vice president, and has promoted two former regional directors. John Bagnell will now be the company's Regional Vice President, West, and Ewan Smith takes on the same position for the East.

John Bagnell has been with Whitlock for three years and has led its successful Chicago office, serving customers in Illinois and across the Midwest. This position included overseeing sales, operations and service for new business engagements, as well as managing delivery teams supporting enterprise customers based in other cities with local operations. Under his leadership, Whitlock's Chicago branch has grown by more than 300% since 2012, in both revenues and number of employees.

Ewan and John will share the same responsibilities for the eastern and western parts of the U.S. and will be closely aligned in their efforts, both reporting to Jack Steinhauer, who oversees Whitlock's sales globally. Each will be responsible for the sales growth, customer satisfaction and profitability for their assigned regions, as well as oversight of more than 400 employees. All current Regional Directors will now report to Ewan and John based on their respective locations.
