Whitlock Taps Industry Veteran Bob Zimmermann to Oversee Managed Services Sales
Joining Whitlock in a newly created role, Bob brings more than 20 years of sales and service experience to the company
RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Whitlock, a video collaboration company, announces the hiring of Bob Zimmermann as its new Director of Managed Services Sales. Bob will provide vision and insight to the fastest growing part of Whitlock's business in global support services. His previous roles included executive level positions with complementary tech partners, Prysm and Spectralink (which was purchased by Polycom).

This newly created role includes a close partnership with Whitlock's service delivery team and VP of IT Chris Jamison, who oversees Managed Services Delivery and Professional Services. "Bob will help us further enable seamless, customer-centric solutions across the sales, implementation, support and services lifecycle. His role will serve as a liaison between leadership, sales and delivery, which will help us drive more profitable growth from our services," states Chris.
Bob's previous experience includes sales and service leadership roles with AVI-SPL, Wire One and PictureTel, which rounds out his expertise in every part of the Whitlock portfolio from strategy and design to enterprise management, implementation and global services. He will work out of Whitlock's Mountain Region, and report as a national resource to Jack Steinhauer, EVP.
