Wood Group Welcomes Nina Schofield As Head Of Health, Safety, Security And Environment

HOUSTON, Aug. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Wood Group has appointed Nina Schofield to the position of Group head of health, safety, security and environment (HSSE), with responsibility for developing and implementing HSSE strategies across Wood Group's global operations.

Since beginning her career in safety with a drilling company, Nina has gained over 20 years of global HSSE experience for international energy services businesses.  She has served most recently as Group HSSE director for Amec and has provided HSSE leadership across organisations, developed policies and assured compliance.

Nina has earned a Bachelor of Laws from Open University/Guilford college of Law, a Master of Arts from Glasgow University and a National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.  A Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Nina has worked in the UK, Azerbaijan, Canada and US.
