World-Class Weightlifting And Crossfit Athletes To Compete In Palm Springs At 2012 STRENGTH AND HUMAN PERFORMANCE EXPO

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- From November 30 through December 2, some of the country's top weightlifting and Crossfit champions and competitors will compete for greatness at the 2012 STRENGTH & HUMAN PERFORMANCE EXPO.

The 2012 Palm Springs STRENGTH & HUMAN PERFORMANCE EXPO (SHPEXPO) sponsored by Guthy-Renker features three popular and competitive events; USA Weightlifting's annual 2012 AMERICAN OPEN, the 2013 WORLD YOUTH TEAM TRIALS and from the relatively new sport of competitive Crossfit fitness, the OUTLAW OPEN. Over 400 of the country's best athletes in these groups have exceeded difficult qualifying standards to earn their right to compete; ensuring spectators and supporters will witness these sports contested at their highest level.

The 2012 SHPEXPO event also features renowned speakers, exhibitors, demonstrations and activities relating to strength and extreme levels of human performance. Two of the keynote speakers include Kendrick Farris, two-time Olympian and Cara Heads, Olympian and expert in fitness and performance.
