WorldSpreads Launches New Approach to Charitable Giving

An innovative approach to charity fundraising is being launched by WorldSpreads, and UK financial commentator and author Alpesh Patel to support The British Asian Trust. A unique spread betting platform for financial spread betting,'BATrustmarkets' allows traders to make charitable contributions that will transform lives in South Asia just by trading as usual.

Twenty per cent of the top line revenue from every spread bet made on 'BATrustmarkets' will be donated to The British Asian Trust to invest in high-impact charities across South Asia, focusing on education, health and livelihoods. The initiative was launched 21 July 2011 at The Oxford and Cambridge Club.

By trading as usual, traders can contribute to the work of The British Asian Trust to address the most pressing issues facing poor communities in South Asia, including massive youth unemployment. With 'BATrustmarkets', traders can help disadvantaged young people gain the skills and confidence to escape poverty.
