Worldwide ButtKicker "4D" Installations Now Number Over 84 in 13 Countries

WESTERVILLE, Ohio, Nov. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Guitammer Company's (OTCBB : GTMM) line of ButtKicker® brand low frequency audio transducers are now installed in movie theaters, special effects '4D' theaters, planetariums and other attractions in over 13 countries. With its first installation over a decade ago, Guitammer now boasts over 10,000 "ButtKicker-enabled" seats in over 84 screens worldwide.

Patented ButtKicker transducers utilize the low frequency audio signal from sound tracks to create the physical sensation of bass and effects – like a subwoofer, but without making sound. Some theater venues call it a '4D' effect, augmenting the visual and auditory experience with immersive feeling.

In the U.S., AMC Theaters installed 565 ButtKicker brand products to make sure every seat of their Mainstreet Theater in Kansas City, MO had the added feeling of bass and special effects that only ButtKicker brand products can provide. "It's adding a third sense to the movie experience, not just adding a tactile subwoofer. When they go off, it's very intense," says Dan Huerta, AMC's VP of projection, sound and new technologies in an article by CEPro about the installation.

In China, Lumeiere Pavilions, a new luxury theater chain recently installed ButtKicker brand transducers for their first 158-seat theater in Nanjing.

And in Russia, a 500-seat IMAX theater and two 50+ seat VIP theaters in Krasnodar, Russia, were fully outfitted with ButtKicker brand products. This theater will be in addition to the attached, eight-screen cinema complex that already uses 540 ButtKicker units to shake all 1675 seats.
