Wreath-Laying Ceremonies To Take Place At Several Historic Locations As We Say Thanks To Our Veterans And Active Military During The Holiday Season
HARRINGTON, Maine, Nov. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- - Today Wreaths Across America™ announced its 2010 schedule of events will include several new participating locations of historical significance, including Pearl Harbor, Valley Forge Park, Bunker Hill and the Charlestown Naval Shipyard, in addition to wreath-laying ceremonies at The Pentagon, Shanksville, PA, and Battery Park in New York as part of the 9/11 observances. Special ceremonies will be held at the Vietnam Wall Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and WWII Memorial as well.

2010 will mark the 19th year of the wreath-laying tradition at Arlington National Cemetery, started by Morrill Worcester of Worcester Wreath Company(WorcesterWreath.com). In total, over 500 participating locations around the Country will place nearly 200,000 wreaths on Saturday, December 11th in honor of service and sacrifice of our Nation's veterans.
