The 140^th running of the $2 million guaranteed Kentucky Derby® Presented by Yum! Brands is set for Saturday, May 3, 2014, with the $1 million Longines Kentucky Oaks® - the Derby's sister race for fillies – on Friday May 2.  The party is set for Friday night at the Kentucky Derby Museum on the grounds of Churchill Downs to culminate the day devoted to the Kentucky Oaks competition among the best 3-year-old distaff race horses.
