TAMPA, Fla., May 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Xcelience's Derek Hennecke has been named a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 Florida Awards.  Mr. Hennecke was selected from more than 70 nominations by a panel of independent judges.  The prestigious, international award program recognizes "high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities."

The winner will compete for the coveted title of national EY Entrepreneur of the Year in November. Later in the year, a global winner will be chosen from among 145 cities and 60 countries.

Florida has participated in this global award since 1986, and many Florida winners have gone on to win at the national level. The last time a Florida winner took the national award was in 2005.
