Xizi Otis Secures Order at Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center

HANGZHOU, China, Nov. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Xizi Otis Elevator Co., Ltd ("Xizi Otis") will supply 30 energy-saving Gen2® elevator systems to the new 80,000-seat Olympic Sports Center in Hangzhou. Located on the southern bank of Qiantang River, Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center will equal the Bird's Nest in Beijing in capacity to become one of China's largest stadiums. In addition to the main stadium, which is due for completion by the end of this year, the Sports Center will provide an 18,000-seat gymnasium and facilities for swimming, tennis, softball, hockey and athletics, among others. It is designed to host world-class international, regional and national games. A new landmark building complex of Zhejiang Province, the facility is one of the key infrastructure projects of Hangzhou's 12^th Five-Year Plan.
