Yonder Names Tech Executive David Tyler As CEO

NEW YORK, July 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- David Tyler has been named CEO of Yonder, the leading outdoor recreation mobile app and platform. Tyler's appointment follows the company's recent announcement that it closed the first $2 million of an open $3 million preferred seed equity raise led by Vermont Seed Capital Fund.

Tyler has been with Yonder for the past five years, most recently as Chief Product Officer, leading product and business development for the company. As CEO, Tyler will continue to oversee product and business development as well as create and execute strategies to continue the growth of Yonder as the world's largest and most active community of outdoor enthusiasts.

Current Chairman and CEO David Roberts will retain his title of Chairman of the Board and continue fundraising activities and advising on broad strategy. Roberts co-founded Green Mountain Digital (now doing business as Yonder) in 2009. During his tenure, Roberts transformed the company from one of the nation's foremost digital publishers of authoritative field guides to a singular focus on Yonder.
