York Solutions Certified Veteran-Owned Business by National Veteran Business Development Council

CHICAGO, Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- York Solutions, a veteran-owned IT consulting firm that uses a non-transactional, value-based approach to provide clients with custom workforce solutions to fit their business needs to successfully complete IT projects, is certified as a Veteran Owned Business (VOB) by the National Veterans Business Development Council (NVBDC), the company announced today.

The NVBDC is the only Veteran Owned Business Certification organization developed by veterans for veterans to provide a reliable certifying authority ensuring that valid documentation exists of veteran ownership. To be certified a VOB, a company needs to be 51 percent veteran-owned and controlled. Proof of active and independent veteran management of the business must also be verified.

York Solutions' Founder Bill Carr is a Vietnam veteran dedicated to integrating veterans into the civilian workforce.
