Zamansky LLC Alerts Easterly ROCMuni Fund Investors to Potential FINRA Claims Following Federal Court Ruling

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Zamansky LLC, a securities fraud and investment fraud law firm, is alerting investors who lost money in the Easterly ROCMuni High Income Municipal Bond Fund that they may have claims against brokerage firms and financial advisors who sold them the fund. The Fund's ticker symbols were RMJAX (Class A), RMHVX (Investor Class) and RMHIX (Class I).

Zamansky LLC alleges that financial advisors sold the Easterly Fund to investors as a conservative municipal bond fund. The firm further alleges that investors may not have been informed of the Fund's significant risks, including its investments in high-yield, below-investment-grade, unrated, distressed, and illiquid securities.

The Fund experienced a steep decline starting on June 20, 2025. Many investors lost money, and the Fund's assets under management plummeted. The Fund began the liquidation process.

On August 17, 2026, U.S. District Judge Denise Cote of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York issued an Opinion and Order in litigation against the Fund. The court dismissed some claims but permitted certain Securities Act claims to proceed, including those alleging that the Fund misrepresented its limitations on illiquid investments and its exposure to distressed securities. The Court's ruling is not a finding of liability.
