Seasoned legal executive brings IPO experience, commercial contracting expertise and global compliance leadership to support Zone's next chapter

NEW YORK, May 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Zone & Co, the ERP-native financial operations platform that unifies order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows at scale, has named Matt Campobasso as its new Chief Legal Officer. A seasoned legal and executive leader, Campobasso brings nearly 20 years of experience helping high-growth software companies navigate complex commercial, regulatory and governance challenges.

As Zone enters new markets and deepens its global footprint, Campobasso will lead legal, compliance and corporate governance strategy, building the foundation needed to streamline deal velocity, support cross-border operations and enable long-term business momentum. He brings a clear belief that legal, when done right, is a growth driver, not a gatekeeper.

Campobasso will work closely with teams across the business, including Sales, Customer Success and Product, to modernize contracting processes, reduce cycle times and bring greater consistency to how we operate across regions. His role will also be critical in shaping policies and frameworks that support customer-friendly agreements, scalable growth and global compliance.

There, he guided the company through a successful IPO, oversaw a $150M investment and expanded legal operations across 11 countries. He has also held leadership roles at IBM and Elevate Services and began his legal career in commercial litigation and public service.
