'The Donald' Tells Brits to 'Make Lottery Great Again' with Mega Millions $654m at Celeblotto
LONDON, October 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --
Cheeky, Cheshire-based online gaming company Celeblotto caused quite the stir today.
When asked whether they thought Tuesday's US Mega Millions lottery would break the record $656 million figure set in 2012, a rather unusual spokesperson was pushed forward by the brand. Step forward, none other than a Trump lookalike.
Mega Millions - the American lottery game that's played in 44 states - has now rolled-over a staggering 22 times. With the last tier one winner back on July 24, the US is currently gripped in a media lottery frenzy. Press coverage includes stories of 1km lines at petrol stations and 4-hour queues at American convenience stores to buy lottery tickets, where a single Mega Millions jackpot winner would exceed the record haul shared by three people six years ago.
For the record, Celeblotto spokesperson 'The Donald' said: "I like the UK. But you Brits have a very, very average lottery. Whereas in the US, we have many great, great games. Who wouldn't want the chance to win $654m on Mega Millions. I mean you'd be crazy not to get involved."
Who knows, we could see a British punter strike it lucky with a Mega Millions bet and set a new world record payout for UK bookmakers come Tuesday, especially if 'The Donald' has his way.
