100 Million Dollar Lawsuit Filed Against Jessica Cooper, Prosecutors Office, Sheriffs Department and Michigan State Police in Oakland County Child Killer Investigation
Relief being sought in lawsuit includes a request for outside investigation by Department of Justice. Complaint alleges a conspiracy, cover up, and misconduct by Jessica Cooper in Oakland County Child Killer Serial Killer cases.
DETROIT, April 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A Press Conference is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, to announce a lawsuit filed on Monday in the United States District Court Eastern District of Michigan Southern Division. It includes a request for an outside investigation by the Department of Justice.
The Press Conference shall be held across the street from the Detroit Renaissance Center at the Courtyard by Marriott, 333 East Jefferson Ave, Detroit, MI 48226 by Attorney Paul Hughes representing the estate of murder victim Kristine Mihelich, and her mother Debbie Jarvis.
This Press Conference Is For Media and Invited Guests Only.
The Lawsuit names the Oakland County Prosecutors Office, Jessica Cooper, and Paul Walton as Defendants. Also named in the lawsuit are the Oakland County Sheriffs Department, Michael Bouchard, and Mike McCabe, and The Michigan State Police, David Robertson, Denise Powell, and Darby O'Dell.
The lawsuit alleges a conspiracy and cover-up throughout the investigation of the abduction and murders of four known Child Serial Killer victims and up to as many as 20 others over at least three states. That new evidence and suspects have intentionally been ignored and dismissed by Jessica Cooper that implicates a member of Law Enforcement's involvement.
A request for assistance has been made to Michigan Senator Carl Levin, Senator Debbie Stabenow, and Representative John Conyers asking for their support in initiating an independent investigation by the Department of Justice out of Washington, DC.
It is hoped that their intervention shall cause Jessica Cooper to discontinue her efforts to block any outside investigation by the Department of Justice. That Ms. Cooper has failed to provide any justification for not supporting an investigation that would allow new suspects, victims, and evidence to be investigated so that the victims and their families may receive justice.
