100% Remote Agency SmartBug Media Wins Happiest Employees Award from Comparably

The Happiest Employees Awards are determined by compiling ratings given by employees at tens of thousands of U.S. companies, with a top 25 receiving recognition in both the Small/Mid-Size and Large Company categories.

General Methodology 
Comparably Awards are derived from sentiment ratings provided by employees who anonymously rated their employers on Comparably.com between September 12, 2017 and September 12, 2018. There were no fees or costs associated with participating, nor was nomination required. During the year-long eligibility period, Large companies (more than 500 employees) must have a minimum of 50 employee participants and Small/Mid-Size companies (fewer than 500 employees) must have a minimum of 15 employee participants to qualify.

Winners were determined based on employee answers to a series of questions (True/False, Yes/No, 1-10 Scale, Multiple Choice) related to various workplace culture topics and their place of employment. The answer to each question was given a numerical score and then compared to companies of similar size across the U.S. Additional weight was given to scores at companies with more participation from their employee base. The final data set was compiled from over 5 million ratings across 45,000 U.S. companies on Comparably.com.
