12th China International Consumer Goods Fair to be Held in June
NINGBO, China, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The 12th China International Consumer Goods Fair (CICGF) will be held in the famous port city of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, in southeast China from June 8 to 11, 2013. The event, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce PRC and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, is one of the four largest import-export fairs in China and is expected to generate ample business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors from China and abroad.
Exhibits will include home appliances, electronics, home textiles, garments, sports products, outdoors and recreational products, household articles and gifts as well as service trades. The 2013 China Zhejiang Import Goods Expo will be held concurrently, the two events attracting a large number of exhibitors and buyers.
The Ningbo Municipal Government and other participating offices have pulled out all the stops to attract exhibitors by leveraging the city's service industry resources. Interest in CICGF has increased thanks to the fair's sound reputation and massive media coverage, as well as the excellent services provided by the government offices responsible for bringing in exhibitors. As of the end of March, almost all of the booths at Zhejiang Import Goods Expo had been booked out.
Last year's 11th CICGF made available 5,000 exhibition booths, including over 2,500 export firms from 22 Chinese provinces and municipalities and over 150 foreign exhibitors, showcasing over 100,000 products. The fair attracted more than 15,000 individual buyers and 20 multinational companies from 100 countries and regions.
Ningbo is located in the Yangtze River Delta with convenient transportation links. Free shuttle buses will be available for overseas visitors between Shanghai and Ningbo, prior to and during the fair. In addition, English, Japanese and German interpreter services provided by volunteers will be available for free. Exhibiting firms from the Yangtze River Delta are mere minutes to hours driving distance from the venue, making it much easier for buyers to visit factories and showrooms.
