16 Coats Rose Attorneys Named to Best Lawyers in America 2014

HOUSTON, Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Coats Rose Law Firm is pleased to announce 16 attorneys in the firm have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2014 (Copyright 2013 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, SC).

Eight attorneys in the Houston headquarters are included in this year's list of top attorneys. John G Cannon, Barry J. Palmer and Richard L. Rose in the Real Estate Law practice area. Ian P. Faria, Patrick E. Gaas, and Daniel F. Shank were selected in the Construction Law practice area. Byron G. Lee and Daniel Shank were selected in the Personal Injury Litigation-Defendants practice area. Chris E. Ryman was named to the Litigation-Construction list. Shank also was recognized for Commercial Litigation.

Thomas R. Barber and Barry S. Rabon, in the League City office, were selected to Best Lawyers in the Construction Law practice area. Barber also has been named Lawyer of the Year in the Houston Area in Construction Law.

William B. Short, Jr. in Dallas was selected in Arbitration, Collaborative Law: Civil, Construction Law, Litigation-Construction and Mediation practice areas. John M. Joseph, in the Austin office, was selected for his work in Government Relations, and Richard L. Reed in San Antonio, in the Construction Law practice area.

Clyde H. Jacob, III, A. Kelton Longwell and Elizabeth Haecker Ryan in the Coats Rose New Orleans office also were selected to the 2014 Best Lawyers in America. Jacob was selected for Employment Law-Management, Labor Law-Management and Litigation-Labor and Employment; Longwell for Real Estate Law; and Ryan for Litigation-Environmental, Product Liability Litigation-Defendants, and Professional Malpractice-Defendants.
