Hosted by the Maru Montero Dance Company, The National Cinco de Mayo Festival® awakens Latin in everyone. The day allows guests to explore the historical, cultural and ethnic contributions of Mexican Americans to the development of the United States. Live music, a Mexican market and Latin American food add authenticity to the day. Children can experience Mexico by making piñatas, building dancing puppets, and winning prizes while playing Mexico's version of Bingo, Loteria.
The festival is not simply a celebration of Mexican culture. For nineteen years, the Cinco de Mayo Festival has helped all people better understand the contributions of Latinos to America's cultural identity.
