2-Way Communications Releases "Power of 3 Words" App to Help People Gain Confidence, Strengthen Important Relationships
CLARKSTON, Mich., Feb. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A new mobile app — "Power of 3 Words" — is helping people appreciate and strengthen their most important relationships. This innovative tool also encourages individuals to become the best possible versions of themselves. More information about the "Power of 3 Words" app is available at http://www.2waycommunications.net/power-of-3-words-app/, and the app is available today on Google Play and the App Store.
Diane Morrison — owner of leadership training firm 2-Way Communications, LLC — led the development of the "Power of 3 Words" app. Her mother, Martha Sprenkle, and brother, Edward Sprenkle, both contributed to the app's impressive art design. Their shared vision was to create a tool for reflecting on and strengthening life's most precious relationships, including the relationship with oneself.
New users of the app can read the tutorial to gain a fuller idea of how the "Power of 3 Words" works. The app's main feature is a three-step process for taking firmer control of one's own life via the creation of inspirational three-word graphics. Users begin by identifying an important role in life. Next, users select three words they would want others to use in describing them within that role. The app provides a list of over 300 words, and users can initially pick out more than three; at the review stage, users will then narrow their collection to just three powerful words. Finally — and this is where the magic happens — users behave in ways that embody their three chosen words.
Other features of the "Power of 3 Words" app include the ability to capture pictures of significant individuals (friends, family, mentors) and preserve those images within a custom journal screen. Users also have the option of posting their personalized three-word graphics to various social media sites, letting friends and loved ones know they are always in their thoughts — a powerful gesture that transcends distances. Best of all, there's no limit to the number of graphics users can create and store in the journal.
Users with an artistic sensibility can create pictures of one of their roles and three associated words and then email a photo to [email protected]. Morrison will post the photo to the "Power of 3 Words" Facebook page. All media (paint, pencils, clip art, craft materials, etc.) will be accepted — the more creative and provocative, the better. The Facebook page features some example artwork by Martha and Edward.
Developing the "Power of 3 Words" app was a family affair, and everyone involved realized the app's potential to foster social change at the personal and community level. The app's creators are equally passionate about the power of education to improve lives everywhere. This passion is what has motived Diane, Martha and Ed to invest a portion of app revenue in a nonprofit organization working in the education sector.
During 2017, 2-Way Communications, LLC will invest a percentage of app sales to educational organizations. Diane Morrison and her mother and brother are passionate about the immeasurable value of education in empowering people to earn a living wage. "Every purchase of the app supports a worthy cause," says Morrison, "and we want to thank everyone for helping make the world a better place.
