ATLANTA, March 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2011 Spring Atlanta Home Show (www.AtlantaHomeShow.com) will bring innovations and experts in the home building and home remodeling industries to Atlanta's Cobb Galleria Centre April 1-3, 2011. The 33rd annual Show will feature exhibits from over 350 local home improvement companies showcasing the newest kitchen and bathroom appliances, water-saving features, pest control, decorative accessories, landscape plans, energy-efficient windows, home spas, outdoor living and much more. Guest speakers will offer tips and advice on organic gardening, home repair, interior design, solar energy, deck safety and mold. The Spring Atlanta Home Show is a SEMCO production and is presented by American Family Insurance and the official Satellite Provider Dish Network.
Show Highlights
The "See-Thru House" is a 1,600-square-foot home built onsite by ConsultAPro.com to show exactly how a home is put together, from the inside out.
"The Total Wine & Design Experience" will pair design vignettes from some of Atlanta's top interior designers with a tasting of nine different wines from Total Wine & More for a $5 donation to Hope Atlanta.
The Home for All Ages exhibit will show attendees how to make a home accessible and safe for everyone regardless of age or ability using techniques of Universal Design.
An Artists' Showcase will offer oil paintings, jewelry, wall sculptures, wood furniture and other one-of-a-kind art forms.
Speakers
The Granite Transformations Home Show Stage is where guest speakers will present exciting educational sessions on a variety of topics. Speakers include HGTV personalities Joe Washington (Ground Breakers) and Tonya M. Williams (Designed to Sell and Bang for Your Buck), local TV and radio gardening guru Walter Reeves and organic gardening expert Farmer D, among others. AM 750 and NOW 95.5 FM News/Talk WSB will broadcast live Saturday morning, April 2.

The Cobb Galleria Centre is located at Two Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339. Show hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m. General Admission tickets are $10. Children 12 and under and adults 65 and over with ID are admitted for FREE.
