2013 ULTRA Music Festival; the Most Technically Advanced Main Stage Design in History

MIAMI, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ULTRA Music Festival's 15^th Anniversary will take place in its birthplace of Miami, FL, March 15-17 and March 22-24; making worldwide history as the first Electronic Music Festival to take place over two weekends. Over 330,000 electronic music and dance enthusiasts, from more than 80 countries, are expected to gather for this world renowned event.

Bruce Rodgers, co-designer and President of Tribe, Inc. said, "Attendees are going to witness the most technically advanced and largest concert stage designs in history. We have combined the latest in staging automation technology, video, set design, and creative LED video systems. The stage is enhanced by 12 32 watt full color lasers; over 12,000 shots of pyrotechnics; and   highlighted by over 1050 intelligent lights."   

ULTRA's Producer, Raymond Steinman, first recruited Rodgers for this large scale, main stage production design project in October 2012. Rodgers then asked Australian designer and technical director, James Klein, of New York based James Klein Events, LLC, to make this a collaborative design effort. Rodgers and Klein have spent nearly 5 months working on the 200 feet wide by 105 feet high concert stage; one of the largest ever created.

Klein said, "Our design pushes creative and technical boundaries for a seamless fusion of entertainment technology with stage and set construction. Bruce and I have designed the world's first interactive and dynamic changing DJ booth. There will be magical; seemingly spontaneous moments to create a magnificent and memorable event."
