2016 SMA Managers & Strategists of the Year Honored at Envestnet Advisor Summit

Winning SMA managers from six categories were presented with crystal statuettes on the second day of the Summit. Harding Loevner was selected from among the winners as the overall SMA Manager of the Year, an elite honor given to firms that exemplify investment management excellence. All of the award recipients will be featured in the July 2016 issue of Investment Advisor.

The award finalists and winners were chosen using the systematic, proprietary, and multi-factor evaluation methodology developed by Envestnet | PMC. The evaluation framework considers performance, firm profile, customer service, investment process and style, composite, tax efficiency, and other quantitative and qualitative criteria. To be eligible for an SMA Manager and Strategist of the Year Award, a manager's product must be reported through PMC's research applications, and have at least $200 million in assets. Entrant managers must also have management teams with at least three years of experience running their respective strategies.
