BOSTON, Oct. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The New England – Canada Business Council (NECBC) will convene its 23rd Annual Energy Trade & Technology Conference hosting some of North America's leading policy leaders, public utility executives and energy technology authorities.

When:  Thursday, November 12, 1:00 to 5:15 p.m. 
            Friday, November 13, 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Where:  Seaport Hotel, Boston

"New England – Canada Energy: The Economic Impact of Integrating Energy Infrastructure in a High-Cost Region"

The NECBC's 23rd Annual Energy Trade & Technology Conference is a major cross-border energy conference in North America, attracting over 200 industry and government leaders. 

Talks will focus on opportunities and constraints in cross-border energy exchanges such as:

  • Impact of high regional energy prices on economic growth, system reliability and air emissions
  • Potential electricity imports from Canada to New England
  • Clean-tech energy technologies
  • Proposals for new natural gas pipelines into the New England region.
