29th Annual BI-LO Charity Classic Raises $5,104,362 for Non-Profits Across Southeast
GREENVILLE, S.C., June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As the 29th annual BI-LO Charity Classic golf tournament came to a close on Monday evening, June 4, BI-LO Charities announced this year's tournament raised a total of $5,104,362 to aid non-profit organizations across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee which benefit BI-LO Charities' three key initiatives: enhancing the lives of children, improving education and nourishing the hungry.

Festivities began on Saturday evening, June 2, with the President's Party held at Hartness Estate for top level sponsors. Tournament participants and guests were treated to a Pairings Party and Auction on Sunday, June 3, at Hartness Estate. The golf tournament took place on Monday, June 4, at 11 of the top courses in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. More than 1,200 golfers and their guests traveled from across the country to participate in this unique event.
