
2nd Annual Symphony Village Artisan Fair Raises $2,000 for Queen Anne County Emergency Center
CENTREVILLE, Md., Nov. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Outreach Committee of Symphony Village, the active adult community in Centreville, recently hosted its second annual Artisan Fair that raised approximately $2,000 for the Queen Anne County Emergency Center in nearby Queenstown, Md.
The fair featured a variety of handmade jewelry, artwork, and crafts and was held in The Clubhouse, a focal point of Symphony Village activities. In addition to the fair, other activities included a bake sale and lunch.
The Symphony Village Outreach Committee is involved in a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year to support important needs of the surrounding communities. "This committee and the important work they do is a great example of the wonderful people who have chosen to make Symphony Village their home as well as their commitment to working together to help others," said Jeff Caruso, president of Caruso Homes, Crofton, Md.
