2X Software Achieves 40% Growth, Appoints Cloud Computing Expert Scott Sims as Worldwide Sales Director

2X Software today announced the appointment of Scott Sims as Sales Director, Worldwide. In his new role, Sims will be in charge of further developing 2X's worldwide sales processes and activities, ultimately growing the company's global footprint. He will be leading the 2X sales force as the company brings on new customers and partnerships.
Sims joins 2X from Application IT, where he served as COO, focusing on virtual desktop infrastructure and leveraging 2X ApplicationServer XG. A veteran sales professional, Sims brings to 2X Software ten years of senior sales experience within the business to business technology market. In 2009, Sims was the General Manager of the 2X Americas office, where his efforts were essential in creating the direct sales team.
A graduate of Oklahoma University in Norman, OK, Sims earned a Bachelors of Science in Entrepreneurship. In 2012, Sims won the prestigious Channel Chief award presented by CRN. He is currently an active CompTIA member.
