ROCHESTER, Minn., April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- 318 Commons, a brand new mixed-use retail, restaurant, office space, classrooms and housing development in Rochester, today announced that Bernard O'Brien has joined the staff as general manager of the complex.

Bernard O'Brien began his career in the multifamily industry as facilities manager of a 1,000-unit complex in Davenport, Iowa.  Over the years, he has held increasing senior positions, the most recent being district manager of multiple residential and commercial developments in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area.  O'Brien attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and Kaplan University.
