3BLACKDOT Releases Early Access STEAM Horror Mega-Hit 'Dead Realm'

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 3BLACKDOT (3BD), the influencer-driven entertainment company created to develop exciting new digital experiences, is adding a new title to its roster of global successes with the early access release of Dead Realm on STEAM.

Launched on STEAM early access on July 30, Dead Realm quickly shot to the top of the STEAM charts, hitting the coveted #1 spot of Popular New Releases in its first day before climbing the charts further and landing the #1 spot in both Horror and Indie categories on the popular PC gaming platform. Created in partnership with leading global YouTube influencers Adam Montoya (SeaNanners), Tom Cassell (TheSyndicateProject) and Evan Fong (VanossGaming), Dead Realm is the first multiplayer PC game created by an influencer network and for the YouTube community.

Developed by Los Angeles-based gaming guru Section Studios and published by 3BD, Dead Realm is a creepy and beautifully crafted immersive gaming experience that thrusts players into the haunted world of a long dead electricity tycoon, William Huxley. Gamers can play as either a Ghost or a Human character and must roam the halls with friends in co-op fashion to run, hide, survive...or die. "Our intention is to work with the community to constantly develop new content, including ghosts, humans and maps. This early access release is just the beginning of what will be an ever evolving project," said Evan Fong, the newest global influencer to join 3BD and its rising multi-channel network JETPAK as partner and co-creator.

As a trending topic on Twitter, more than 90,000 tweets mentioning #DeadRealm have been posted in the two short weeks since landing on STEAM early access.

Dead Realm will be updated periodically with new content during its early access phase, with the final release of the game slated for early 2016.
