3D Asset Management Adds to Management Team

EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- 3D Asset Management, Inc., an investment manager that provides a comprehensive range of Global ETF asset allocation portfolios to retirement plans and individuals, announced two important executive hires to lead their advisor and retirement distribution strategy.

Vincent Leon joins 3D as Vice President and National Sales Manager overseeing all sales, marketing, and distribution for its Intermediary and Retirement channels.  Previously, Mr. Leon was Head of Retail Sales and Distribution at Mirae Asset Global Investments (USA), where he was successful in building and managing the Strategic Relationship and Intermediary Sales division.  At 3D, he will continue to expand and develop the sales infrastructure of the firm to more effectively serve their advisor and retirement plan clients.  Prior to Mirae, Mr. Leon held positions at GE Asset Management and Legg Mason Global Investments.  He has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (SM) (AAMS®) designation and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Manhattan College.

Lee Tenney, an 18-year industry veteran, joins 3D from WisdomTree Investments where he was Director of Retirement Services.  He will serve as the Retirement Plan Consultant for 3D and report to Mr. Leon. With his specialization in the retirement plan market, Mr. Tenney will focus on cultivating retirement channel relationships and discovering new opportunities.  While at WisdomTree, Mr. Tenney was instrumental in getting ETFs into the mainstream of the qualified plans marketplace.  He has also held positions at Bisys Retirement Services, Engagement Systems and GoldK, Inc.  Mr. Tenney holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of Rhode Island.
