CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Legend3D, Inc.—an industry pioneer in 2D-to-3D conversion technology and services—Founder, Chief Technical Officer and Chief Creative Officer Dr. Barry Sandrew announced his departure from the company to focus on entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2000, Sandrew founded Legend3D with funding from angel investors and a handful of employees. Leveraging his extensive visual effects and digital imaging expertise—which includes 14 VFX patents and 23 years of feature film and TV experience—he and his colleagues built Legend3D into one of industry's leading 2D-to-3D conversion studios.
