401kTV and the National Institute of Pension Administrators Announce a Partnership to Better Support 401(k) and 403(b) Plan Sponsors
JUPITER, Fla. and CHICAGO, March 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 6, 2018, 401kTV and the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) announced the creation of a monthly electronic newsletter for 401(k) and 403(b) plan sponsors to help them successfully run their organizations' retirement plan and help employees prepare for retirement.
"With increased regulatory oversight and litigation, running a defined contribution retirement plan has become more complicated for plan sponsors," observed Fred Barstein, Editor in Chief and Founder of 401kTV. "We are thrilled to be partnering with the industry's leading association of pension professionals and third party administrators (TPAs) to bring their members' knowledge, insights and wisdom to the more than 50,000 401kTV subscribers."
The monthly newsletter will be sent to 401kTV's subscribers as well as NIPA's members beginning April 20, 2018 and will include original case studies from NIPA members focused on compliance and running a successful defined contribution plan as well as videos and posts from 401kTV.
"NIPA's goal is to provide its members with the network and resources necessary to provide employees with the best opportunity to be successful in retirement," said Laura J. Rudzinski, NIPA Executive Director.
NIPA will also be sponsoring a "Compliance Corner" on 401kTV highlighting issues real-life plan sponsors have faced and how NIPA professionals have been able to successfully resolve them.
"Working with 401kTV gives us an opportunity to increase the number of plan sponsors we can help while highlighting the value that a knowledgeable TPA can bring," said Joseph Burt, NIPA President. "This is just the start of hopefully a long-term partnership between NIPA and 401kTV."
