4K 4Charity Fun Run at IBC2015 Registration Opens with Limited Number of Sponsorships Still Available

PORTLAND, Ore., June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Elemental Technologies, the leading supplier of software-defined video solutions for multiscreen content delivery, together with co-founding sponsor Ericsson, today announced open registration for the 4K 4Charity Fun Run to be held at 7:30 am Saturday, 12 September 2015 in Amsterdam. Also sponsored by IBC2015, the 4km (2.49-mile) race is available to all registered IBC2015 attendees and commemorates major Ultra HD achievements while raising funds for CARE.

Proceeds from the run will be designated to CARE, a leading humanitarian organization that fights global poverty. CARE focuses on community-based efforts to improve basic education, end gender-based violence, provide healthcare and nutrition, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity, and protect natural resources.

The 4K 4Charity Fun Run will start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, 12 September and loop through Amstel Park, which is walking distance from the southeast corner of the RAI Exhibition and Conference Centre complex (Europaplein, 1078 GZ Amsterdam, Netherlands). After completing the race, participants can celebrate the event over light snacks and beverages.
