A record number of Prime members shopped across 17 countries during the last Prime Day event, making it the biggest sales event in Amazon's history at the time. Prime Day 2018 witnessed record sales for Amazon devices for kids, including the Fire 7 Kids Edition tablet, Echo Dot Kids Edition and Fire HD 8 Kids Edition tablet.

Amazon Prime Day 2019 starts at midnight (PT) on Monday, July 15, and runs for 48 hours through to 11:59 pm on Tuesday, July 16.
