NEW YORK, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the simply elegant Omni Berkshire Place, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, steps away from Madison Avenue shopping and countless New York signature attractions and businesses, completed a multi-million dollar revitalization to usher in a new era for the iconic flagship luxury hotel.

Already a favorite among discerning and knowledgeable business and leisure travelers, the more than 100,000 guests that have checked into the Big Apple gem on an annual basis will now enjoy an updated experience on their next stay.  All of the hotel's 396 guest rooms and suites will feature a new fresh, modern look from floor to ceiling.  

The Omni Berkshire Place collaborated with industry design experts from the award winning firm, Champalimaud (Interior Designer of the Year 2009 IHMRS among many others), to create a sophisticated space that offers a refined yet comfortable setting.  Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city's busy streetscape, guests will find the new rooms designed to bring them a peaceful ambiance.  Soothing wall and carpet rug colors paired with contemporary artwork and mirrors produce an exceptionally plush environment while the new sleek sycamore wood closets/feature walls are complimented by the mahogany furniture and desks providing clean lines in the spacious rooms that are ideal for tending to work or relaxing tuned into new 42-inch flat screen TVs.  

All guest rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two double beds, with plush pillows and luxurious linens.  In addition to the flat screens, room amenities include a fully-stocked Sensation Bar and high-speed wireless Internet access, complimentary to Select Guest loyalty program members.  Many rooms also feature balconies with picturesque New York views, rare jewels in the Midtown neighborhood.
