6126 LLC Announces Launch of Anticipated Handbag Collections as an Extension of Fashion Forward Apparel Fashion Line

LOS ANGELES, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- 6126 LLC is excited to announce the expansion of  their full apparel fashion line, 6126 by Lindsay Lohan into a handbag collection, the 6126 Handbag Collection.  

The 6126 Handbag Collection comes from a licensing deal with The California Bag Company, and will be produced under the brand name, 6126 Collection. European handbag designer Paz Shaked Wolf, former handbag designer of such notable brands as Tarina Tarantino and Dolce & Gabbana, has been tapped to lead the design team alongside  6126 Creative Director, Lindsay Lohan, who will continue to be extremely hands-on in all aspects of the design and production of 6126.

The newly expanded 6126 Collection will offer a range of handbag must-haves for every woman's wardrobe.  Launching Holiday 2010, the 6126 Handbag Collection will retail at $165-$395 and be sold alongside 6126 apparel to better department stores and targeting retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and other high-end specialty boutiques across the world.

Defining 6126 handbags as a major influence in the accessories market, the collection will introduce an "it bag" called The Monroe,  an iconic shape that is convertible and versatile in that it can be worn five different ways. The Collection will also feature a variety of other chic handbag styles including the Starlette, which will feature soft pebble grain leather using elastic elements, woven chain details and mesh as an unexpected twist on mixed materials. The Kitten With A Whip style will feature snake embossed leather with nappa trim and an interlaced corset gusset treatment that creates a sexy contour and sensual detail. Lastly, the Glam-A Go Go style will include smooth calfskin with a multi-chain handle and metal fringe, which add movement and style to this evening collection. Inspired by nightclubs, these bags are small, yet very utilitarian when it comes to important essentials – cell phone and lip gloss.

For Spring 2011, 6126 will introduce a diffusion brand 7286 which is named after Lindsay's birthday that will debut at Dillard's department stores nationwide and will also be introduced to a different markets. The 7286 Spring 2011 Handbag Collection will retail at $168 and under with the average bag retailing at $128.

Inspired by the classic yet edgy glamour of Marilyn Monroe, all styles in the collections will exude confidence with an air of sophistication that add definition to the newly launched  6126 apparel collection.  As with the 6126 apparel line, the handbag collections will be synonymous with classic glamour and will be consistent with the 6126 lifestyle.
