76® Celebrates Dodger Stadium's 50th Anniversary with Free Ticket Giveaway
Popular Gas Station Chain Supports its Customers and the Los Angeles Dodgers by Offering Fan Perks Throughout the Season
HOUSTON, May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- 76®, West Coast gas station chain and provider of high-performance petroleum products, is showing appreciation for its customers by giving away free tickets to any Los Angeles Dodger home game in honor of Dodger Stadium's 50th anniversary. As a supporter of the Dodgers for more than 50 years, instrumental in bringing the team to Los Angeles from Brooklyn in 1958, 76 is also offering additional perks this baseball season by hosting 76 Stadium Days and creating a real-time digital scoreboard in west Los Angeles for Dodger fans.
"We strive to make small differences that impact the daily lives of our drivers in a big way, such as providing a perk at the pump," said Tami Walker, Manager, U.S. Fuels Brand Management. "To thank our customers for choosing 76, while celebrating the rich history and partnership with the Dodgers, we're excited to turn a few fill-ups into a fun outing at Dodger Stadium."
By filling up four times with at least 10 gallons of fuel at any 76 gas station, now through July 31, customers can redeem two free tickets to any Dodgers home game. Additionally, 76 will reward its customers by providing free game tickets for a special "76 Section" at Dodger Stadium in May, June and July. Each winner will receive an orange 76 t-shirt to wear at the game.
"And because we want to make every minute spent on the road enjoyable for our drivers, we've constructed a larger-than-life scoreboard that provides the score of all Dodger games in real time so that fans won't miss any of the action—even when they're stuck in traffic," Walker added.
