911 ETC Reports Continued Growth and Expanded Partnerships for 2011 Within the E911 Industry
EVERETT, Wash., Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- 911 ETC, a leading E911 provider since 1997, reports continued growth as E911 compliance laws tighten for the enterprise space. 911 ETC recently announced partnerships with Carousel Industries and Cross Telecom, both leading Avaya Connect partners. The company was asked to join the National Association of State Technology Directors in 2011 as their corporate E911 affiliate. As an Avaya DevConnect certified partner since 2005, 911 ETC has achieved certification for Aura™ Communication Manager. SoftLoc™, an application that allows for location provisioning of soft phones, was launched in the first quarter of 2010 and is already being utilized by a Fortune 100 client. Larry Scott, the company's founder, was honored in 2010 with the "Industry Leader Award" by the E911 Congressional Caucus and several 911 organizations, including NENA and the E911 Institute.
911 ETC reports that it has been on the GSA schedule since 2003 and is able to claim the General Services Administration as one of their own clients. The company was re-awarded the contract to service Social Security Baltimore and DC headquarters, and gained several other key accounts in 2010's fourth quarter including Commonwealth of Kentucky, Frederick County Maryland, Motorists Mutual Insurance and Portland School District.
"The fact that we're the industry expert when it comes to a hybrid solution – meaning a combination of traditional PBX and VoIP – is what is setting us apart within the industry," states Larry Scott, president and founder of 911 ETC. "Most clients currently have a mix of the two, and don't want to have to utilize more than one provider in fully implementing for E911. We provide a complete end-to-end solution and then go above and beyond the initial implementation by including ongoing E911 management for the client, at a very competitive price point. We founded this company and developed our products because of the safety glitch that exists in our 911 system whenever someone places an emergency call from behind a multi-line telephone system. I'm proud to be able to state that 911 ETC now partners with hundreds of organizations nationwide in providing the E911 protection that everyone deserves while at their school or place of work. We're excited to continue to build on that success in 2011."
911 ETC (www.911etc.com) provides individual E911 solutions to the enterprise, government, healthcare, education and SMB markets while addressing mandated E911 statutes throughout the United States. 911 ETC's service is easily scaled and available for multi-site enterprise on down to the smallest of office suites.
