INDIANAPOLIS, March 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Indy's News Leader, 93.1 WIBC, and 1070 The Fan, the radio home of Butler Basketball, will simulcast Saturday night's 2011 NCAA Men's Basketball Semifinal game between the Butler Bulldogs and the Virginia Commonwealth Rams, which tips off at 6:09 p.m.

"Butler's back-to-back Final Four appearances are historic, and we want to recognize the significance of this event by simulcasting for maximum coverage as we do with the Indianapolis 500," Charlie Morgan, Vice President of Emmis-Indianapolis, said. "As we wind up our first year as the radio home of the Bulldogs, there is no better way than to be live from Houston and to broadcast the game on both The Fan and WIBC."

1070 The Fan's JMV will be hosting a special show from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday live from Houston. Over at WIBC, there will be a special Butler pre-game show starting at 3 p.m. with Jersey Johnny

The game broadcast will originate from Butler's own basketball radio network.
