Autumn and Aurora Debut Children's Book, The Three Heroes, About COINTELPRO's Impact on Civil Rights, with Exclusive Signing Event Marking the 54th Anniversary of Its Exposure.

On March 8, 2025, the bookstore will host a private Author Signing Celebration for Autumn and Aurora, who have launched their book titled, The Three Heroes. This novel explores the lives and struggles of Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Fred Hampton, as well as the covert FBI program COINTELPRO, which sought to dismantle civil rights movements. March 8th is a particularly significant date, marking the 54th anniversary of COINTELPRO's exposure by the Citizens Commission to Investigate the FBI in 1971.

The Three Heroes emerged from the 3E Program for Social Justice and Change, a youth initiative dedicated to empowering students through Black history education and social justice advocacy. Autumn and Aurora's work is a testament to the impact of young voices in shaping historical awareness and discourse.

The exclusive signing event for The Three Heroes will include a discussion with the authors, a reading from the book, and a signing session. Although the event is private, the bookstore encourages awareness and support for these young authors and their impactful work.
