Simple Select, a Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan that meets preventive requirements of the Affordable Care Act, now offers three levels for employers who wish to offer affordable, basic health care coverage while avoiding penalties.

Simple Select is a so-called "skinny plan" that satisfies the individual mandate for employees, so they won't face fines. These plans also minimize potential ACA-related penalties for employers.
