More than 300 employees of MetroSouth Medical Center and residents of Blue Island, IL, will brave the cold to form Chicago's biggest heart. Dressed in red ponchos, the group will link arms to call attention to heart health and the importance of yearly heart exams. |

During February and March, MetroSouth Medical Center is offering $40 heart healthy and circulation exams ($250 value). The exams include a blood test to determine cholesterol level, blood pressure and body mass index, an electrocardiogram (EKG)-monitored exercise test, and an ankle brachial index test to identify circulation issues which can lead to heart attack, stroke and death. |
