A Merger of Finance and Music Delivers Attendees Exceptional Results

Merging the worlds of finance and love of the Grateful Dead, Wall Street Dead aHead Networking Events™ (WSDaH) will return to New York City for its sixth gathering on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 on its way to another sold-out event.
What resonates throughout the WSDaH series of events is any number of the Grateful Dead song lyrics and the general legacy of the band. Whether, "Don't be a collector of more than you need, got a lot of things growing, but keep watching your seeds" (One Thing To Try), "Don't you let that deal go down" (Deal) and of course, "Strangers stopping strangers, just to shake their hand" (Scarlet Begonias)—the Events articulate a theme of building lasting business relationships and friendships with a love of the Grateful Dead's music as the connecting bond.
Pulling it all together is the low-key but high-energy and visionary founder Deborah Solomon. Ms. Solomon is a winner in every sense of the word—but she might declare that the lyrics such as "Put your money where your love is" says it all. This is exactly what Ms. Solomon has done and a rush of attendees and sponsors are riding her train as they've witnessed the immediate business-building connection success since the first event.

The 2016 WSDaH will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM ET at Tir Na Nog, located at 315 West 39th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues in New York City. The event will include three hours of open bar and specialty cocktails and two hours of appetizers, a sponsor bag and an attendance roster for participants only.

The International FoxG1 Foundation has been chosen by Ms. Solomon as the Affiliate Charity for this Event. The Foundation's name refers to a rare genetic mutation of the FoxG1 gene that impacts early brain development and function. This severe neurological condition is characterized by seizures, inability to control body movements, lack of muscle tone and lack of speech. While the spectrum of abilities is quite broad depending on the exact genetic mutation, many children cannot walk or talk and they struggle to communicate their most basic daily needs. Most cases of FoxG1 are non-inherited and have no family history.
