NEW YORK, Aug. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Although the United States is one of the most diversified countries on this planet, and interracial love is no longer a rare case, estrangements between different races still exist. To help ease nerves of individuals looking to date interracially we have released Mixy, an app that helps people who are interested in interracial love finding their perfect partner.
Since public release Mixy has seen staggering success with user usage and matches. The app has been installed in over 15,000 Android and Apple devices. App analytics show that over 2000 matches have occurred since launch.
Mixy Limited CEO Marie, had this to say about the launch of the app:
In today's society, interracial dating seems more and more like a norm, there is a large percentage of the world's population that wants to date interracially. I have wanted to help facilitate these individuals in finding some romance and believe that Mixy is the solution. Interracial dating sites are starting to take off, yet there has been no penetration in the app market until Mixy. Our first week of downloads speak for themselves, and even at a fraction of the current speed we could see over 100,000 downloads by the end of the year. This is an exciting time for our new startup and our success in user matches is a great indication to investors that this app is prime for future monetization.
Mixy works in a similar fashion to other dating apps with users seeing possible connections that are nearby. Users just need to swipe right to like or left to pass, if both users swipe right they will be introduced to one another. What makes Mixy unique is that this is an interracial dating app; users will only be shown individuals of different race. Users have the option of selecting which gender of the individuals they are able to match with and how far away a connection can be before they are considered out of range.
