Enjoy gingerbread and hot cider, the live sounds of the acclaimed Azusa Pacific University Handbell Choir and the grand illumination of a sparkling live fir tree.

Children's Story Time: The Polar Express

Rendezvous Court, Saturday, December 11 from 11:00am – 1:00pm

The magical holiday story of "The Polar Express" comes to life through a partnership with the LA Public Library as the Biltmore hosts a special reading of the book for children and parents. Holiday cookies, milk and cider will be provided, plus kids will have a chance to make their own sleigh bell ornament to take home!

Winter Afternoon Tea

Rendezvous Court, Wed-Sun, December 1-30 (24th and 25th excluded), 2:00pm – 5:00pm

The Biltmore's famous afternoon tea transforms for winter and features an assortment of seasonal tea sandwiches, miniature desserts and freshly-baked maple scones with homemade Devonshire cream and jam. A wide selection of blended and herbal teas are available, including the hotel's 2010 signature holiday blend.

A sumptuous 3-course dinner menu includes choices like lobster bisque with tarragon and cognac essence, rack of lamb with garlic and rosemary polenta, slow-roasted prime rib of beef and pan-seared sea bass with homemade pesto and fresh vegetables. Includes a glass of champagne.

On Christmas Day, enjoy a selection from our breakfast buffet or a full brunch.

Dinner: Smeraldi's Restaurant, seatings at 6:00pm and 8:30pm

Celebrate in grand style with a decadent 5-course menu featuring items like ricotta gnocchi with sage and walnuts, filet mignon in a port wine and mushroom sauce, lobster thermidor sauteed in a Bechamel sauce with white truffle risotto and seared duck breast with a cherry glaze.

The Biltmore's annual New Year's Eve Gala will feature live music in 2 venues and a full countdown including a midnight champagne toast! Musicians Ryan Cross and Jason Taylor will perform with their band in the Gallery Bar, while bandleader Luca Ellis leads a classic Frank Sinatra-style show in the Rendezvous Court.

Salvation Army Partnership & Angel Tree Unveiling Event

This year the Biltmore is proud to partner with renowned international non-profit organization the Salvation Army. An Angel Tree will be located in the Rendezvous Court December 7 - January 1 so visitors can choose a tag for a child in need and drop off the item at the hotel any time during the holidays. Visitors may also make a donation to go toward downtown LA Salvation Army programs to assist the homeless and hungry. Materials will be located next to the Angel Tree and at the Front Desk. Any visitors making a contribution will receive a complimentary giftbox from the Salvation Army, featuring a miniature signature bell.

Angel Tree Unveiling: Tuesday, December 7 at 12:00pm in the Rendezvous Court, featuring the live sounds of the Salvation Army Brass Quartet playing holiday favorites.
