The institution has chosen the company's tick@lab software application as the primary tool to provide administrative oversight for many of its research studies.

The recent adoption of the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (Eighth Edition) by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has created additional requirements for documentation and self-regulation. a-tune software will help ease the administrative burden for the UO by providing researchers with audit trailing, electronic signatures and other compliant features. The use of latest hardware such as iPad and tablet technology will also be realized through the partnership.
